NOTD: OPI Minnie Mouse Collection

Hey gals! The other day I went into my local beauty store and ran into the new OPI Minnie Mouse Collection. I have seen a few ads in a couple magazines and didn't think I would be interested. I saw these in person and I was really surprised! They are ALL really pretty and fun. I ended up getting 3 out of the 4 polishes. The one I didnt end up getting was a glitter top coat and I don't usually like to wear glitter on my nails like that. It was totally cute but decided last minute not to get it.

OPI The Color Of Minnie

OPI If You Moust You Moust

 OPI I'm All Ears

All three of these are super cute on. Definitely a fun girly collection! The one I think I like the most is "If You Moust You Moust." It kind of reminded me of the Nicki Minaj "Pink Friday" color except its a darker, cooler pink. Very fun and love the finish. I painted this on my nails just to show you how cute it looks on. Don't mind my horrible paint job...

Which colors are you going to get from this collection? Do you think its a hit or miss? Have a great day! xo

NOTD: OPI Into The Night (The Amazing Spider Man Collection)

Hey Gals! Just picked up a new blue nail polish to add to my collection. This polish by OPI just came out in the new "The Amazing Spider Man" collection. This blue is awesome. I don't have anything like it.

This color is called "Into The Night. I love the metallic finish and love how it looks in the light. Every time I look at it, it totally reminds me of a super hero blue ;) It's so pretty and fun.

There are 7 total nail polishes in the collection. All of them are totally different from each other. One of the polishes is even a crackle polish. You can find this polish on the OPI website or any beauty supply store that sells OPI. If you want this polish you better get it before its gone!

Have a great week!

NOTD: Essie Nail Polish in Ole Caliente

Hey Gals! Happy Sunday! The last nail polish I used was more on the cool side and since the weather is heating up, I thought I would use something a little warmer. This color is perfect for summer.

This color is called Ole Caliente. The name says it all. Its described as red-orange with a pink undertone. This summer, corals and oranges are totally the new trend. This color would be a great addition to your nail polish collection.

This color is very pigmented. I used two coats and topped it off with Seche Vite Fast Drying Top Coat.

What are your favorite colors to rock during spring and summer?

NOTD: Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Cut It Out

Hey Gals. I have been ready for spring time so I thought I would add some spring to my life in my nails! These are from Sally Hanson called the Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips. These are great. If you have seen my past posts, I have used these strips a lot.

I have had this design for awhile but I didn't want to use them yet until it was closer to spring. I thought the flower print was so cute and would go with any outfit since its black and white. This pattern in called Cut It Out.

These are really easy to apply and last about 7-10 days depending on how fast your nails grow or how hard you are on your nails. I love these because they hardly chip. My nails grow really fast so I have to take them off around the 7th day.

My nails strips in these pics have been on for a few days so you can see that my nails have grown out. I at least wanted to take pics so you guys can see how cute this pattern is.

You can find these nail strips at most drug stores like CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, anything like that. I know they are also available at Target, Walmart, etc. These run about $10 each which can be kind of pricey but they are fun and I think are worth it!

TIP: To make these strips last a lot longer and stay shiny, add a top coat of clear nail polish. I recommend Poshe Top Coat.

Check out my YouTube Video on how to apply these:

NOTD: Essie Nail Polish in Fiji

Its spring time! My favorite color to wear during spring is a soft pink. My favorite pink nail polishes are from Essie. The other day I day I went to Walgreens to see if there were any pinks that I needed to try.

The first pink that caught my eye was Fiji. It was a nice soft pink that was kind of on the bright side. I knew since I am currently on the pale side, it would make me look tan! It totally does, don't you think?

You can get away with just two coats but it looked a little streaky on me so I ended up doing three. Check this Essie nail polish out. Great color for Spring!

What other pink Essie nail polishes should I try?

NOTD: Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Tu Tu Much

Happy Friday! I always find myself picking up a new pack of the Sally Hanson Salon Effects nail strips every time I go into the drugstore. This time I picked up two new ones, a red and a pale pink.

I used the pink one called Tu Tu Much, which is basically a baby pink. When I pealed the polish strip off the backing, I noticed that the pink was more sheer than I wanted. It looked kind of translucent. I was worried I was not going to like it but after seeing them all on I loved how it turned out. It was a soft wash of pink. Looked great after I applied my favorite top coat from Poshe.

I feel like this color makes my hands look clean, and nicely manicured. You can hardly tell they are nail polish strips. It looks like your typical nail polish. Love it. I will for sure be buying these again.

NOTD: Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Cross My Heart

Hey guys and gals,
Happy Valentines Day! Im really not into Valentines day but when I saw these at my local drugstore, I instantly knew I had to get these. I'm currently obsessed with Sally Hansen Salon Effects.
I have written about these nail strips before in previous posts but I cant stop talkin about them. The true test to see how long these lasted was to see how they held up at work. Usually when I just paint my nails, they stay looking nice for only like a day or two. I always end up chipping them because of the tasks I do at work.
These lasted 5 days no chips! The only reason I took them off was because I wanted a new nail design. I feel like they easily could have lasted another 5 days. The box even says they last 10 days. This is the third time I have used the nail strips and I noticed that adding a strong top coats keeps them stronger and makes them last longer.
These cost about $8 dollars and I think its totally worth it. Forget getting professional manicures when you can get these!

They also have other really cute designs for Valentines day that you should totally check out. You can find these at most drug stores, most makeup isles, target, walmart, etc. Almost anywhere!
Are you ready for Valentines Day? Cuz I know I am!
