Review: bareMinerals Show Me the Shimmer

The holiday lip sets are here! These are the kits that I look forward to the most. This one is definitely my favorite. I was able to get this at the BareMinerals preview. They usually do this a month before the product launches so you get a sneak peek and are able to purchase the products early.

Show Me the Shimmer is a beautiful lip set. It features 6 mini moxie lip glosses with lots of shimmer. There is a great range of different colors in this set which is great for any occasion. If your not a fan of shimmery lip glosses, this might not be the set for you. These glosses look great by themselves for a hint of color and shimmer, or they look great layered over your favorite lipstick.

Left to Right: Super Star, Crowd Pleaser Icon, Scene Stealer, Head Turner, Femme Fatal

These colors are pretty sheer but Femme Fatal has the most color payoff. This is a great kit to add to your makeup collection and a great set to add a little sparkle to your makeup look for the holidays. This set will be available starting in October and through the holidays for $25.

What is your favorite color?

Review: Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lip Gloss

Hey Gals! Bare Minerals just launched their brand new line of lip glosses! I've been dying to see these in person. I'm so excited that they added these to the Bare Minerals line as a permanent product.
As some of you may know, Bare Minerals made thier Buxom line exclusive to Sephora only. The Buxom glosses used to be available at BE counters, and boutiques. They made "Marvelous Moxies" to take the place of Buxom in counters and boutiques.

They made 10 different shades for the Marvelous Moxies. All of them are pigmented, creamy, high shine,  and have a refreshing peppermint taste.

" This luscious lipgloss delivers sheer, vivid color and a shiny mirror-like finish that lasts for hours. Infused with natural ingredients, exotic oils, botanical extracts, and antioxidants, the refreshing formula smoothes and hydrates lips for superior comfort." -BE Website

Risk Taker: A golden chocolate shade

Party Starter: Bright Coral Shade

 Show Off: Baby Pink Shade

Smooth Talker: golden pink shade

Spark Plug: Dusty Pink Pearl

I think the packaging is very cute. I am usually not a sponge applicator fan but I kind of like the shape of this one. The applicator is slanted so it lays perfectly on your lips.

These retail for $18 and you can find them at Bare Escentuals online, boutique, and counter. I recommend everyone to check them out. The color are gorgeous. I cant wait to get more!

Review: Bare Minerals Buff & Go Brush

Hey Everyone! So all you all know, I have been using Bare Minerals Foundation for over two years now. I have used a couple of their mineral brushes to apply my foundation, but I finally found my favorite go to brush.
The newest brush that they added to their brush collection last year was the Buff & Go Brush. This can be used for a lot of the Bare Minerals products but I think with works amazing with the Bare Minerals foundation.

This brush is synthetic and incredibly soft. It gives the most amazing full coverage because its synthetic and the brush is so dense. I feel like it makes my foundation go on so smooth and make it look like velvet.
Another reason why I love this brush is because it comes with a lid! Great to throw in your purse for a touch up or for traveling.

This brush retails for $22. You can find this brush at the Bare Minerals Website, Ulta, Sephora and at Bare Minerals Boutiques and counters.

Review: Bare Minerals Renew & Hydrate Eye Cream

Hey Everyone. Today I wanted to share with you the eye cream I have been using. I have been using this for quite awhile now and I love it.
Its never to early to start using eye cream. I started using eye cream when I 22. You will thank yourself later. This cream is for hydrating the eye area and also help with anti- aging. This eye cream helps diminish fine lines are wrinkles.

This eye cream "revitalizes skin and boosts moisture leaving the delicate eye area looking revived, refreshed and luminous."-Bare Escentuals website

I have noticed my eye area looks much more hydrated and smooth. Also I notice when I put any under eye concealer on, it doesn't look cakey or dry because the cream keep my eye area moisturized.

I use this eye cream morning and night. I use my ring finger and pat a small amount of the cream around my eye area. The product lasts forever! Little goes a long way. You get 15 mL / 0.5 Fl. Oz in the container. This cream is paraben free, no artificial fragrances or oils.

This eye cream retails for $32. You can get this eye cream at the Bare Escentuals website, Ulta, Sephora or any Bare Escentuals Boutique.

Review: Bare Minerals READY Bronzer

Hey everyone,
Ok, here is the 2nd thing I am totally excited about. One of Bare Escentuals newest items are the Bare Minerals READY Bronzers. Super excited. Most people who are Bare Mineral users are familiar with "Warmth" and "Faux Tan" as their bronzers or all over face colors. Some people say that warmth is too red or dark and some people say that the bronzers are not dark enough. So they created THREE new bronzers that come in compacts.

The three different bronzers are:
The Skinny Dip- Light Tan
The High Dive- Tan (shown above)
The Deep End- Dark Tan

These bronzers are paraben free, no fillers, no chemicals, or binders. You can make them really sheer or you can build to how dark you want it. These bronzers also deliver anti-aging benefits for softer, smoother skin according to the info on their website.

I definitely will be collecting all three of these bronzers. Love them all!!

Review: Bare Minerals READY Blush

Hey Everyone!
I am so excited about these new products at Bare Escentuals. They are doin it big! Late last year they introduced their new solid READY eyeshadows. If you are familiar with Bare Minerals, all of their products are in loose mineral form. They has figured out a way to make some of their products solid by "unique cold pressed method." They use their "SeaNutritive Mineral Complex composed of positively charged sea minerals with antioxidants and cold pressed carrot oil" to do this.*
So now what product are they making in solid form now? Their BLUSH! Yay!
For this weekend only, they are having a preview of these new blushes that will be permanently at Bare Escentuals sometime in March or April.  There is going to be 10 different new shades of blushes in compacts. There is a good range of colors to choose from.

The one that I got is called "The One." On their website, this is described as a "nude pink." You get about 6 g/0.21 Oz in this compact. They retail for $22 which I think is an average price for any blushes out there. The compact also comes with a small brush. The brush is actually nice. Very very soft. Personally its too small for me to apply blush but others might like the fact that its small and ready to apply the blush for a touch up.

This blush is free of parabens, binders, fillers, and no harsh chemicals. The blushes are very pigmented and go on really smooth. On the Bare Escentuals website, they say that the blushes last a good 8 hours.
I am really excited about these blushes and I think they are great. The packaging is nice, (even tho I could do without the brush) colors are very pigmented, goes on really smooth. I plan on collection all of the blushes. I am a makeup hoarder right? hah!

*All of my information I got from this product is from the Bare Mineral website and the pamphlet that came with the blush.

Review: Bare Minerals 100% Natural Lipstick in Cherries on Top

Hey Gals,
Ive totally been in a pink lipstick mood for some reason and I wanted to get a pink lipstick from BE. I have a lot of their lipsticks in different finishes and I do like them. The fact that they are 100% natural is a bonus too.
I decided to go for Cherries on Top. This pink is pretty bright and I like this formula vs. their other lipsticks that have a frosty finish. This one is really creamy and has great color pay off.
BE Cherries On Top (no liner, no gloss)
This color is your basic magenta. If your looking for a pretty gloss to put on top of it, try Bare Minerals 100% Natural Lip gloss in Fruit Cocktail.
You can find these lipsticks are Bare Escentual Boutiques, Sephora, Ulta and online for $15.

Sample Sundays: Bare Minerals Pretty Amazing Lipcolor in Confidence

Hey Everyone.
This is something new that I will be doing every Sunday. I have a huge box filled with samples and I realized that I need to start doing something with them. I asked my friends on my Facebook page if they would want me to do this and the vote was yes. So every Sunday, expect a post about a random sample that I will be reviewing. Samples are a great way to try something new, see if you like it first before you commit to buying it. Let me know if you like me doing this. Also it would be fun to have Guest Posts from you guys who have samples at home! Let me know what you think!

This is a sample I got from Bare Minerals a while ago. This is a new color that I havent tried and figured it would be fun to share it with you. I have tried other Pretty Amazing lip colors and I love them. They are so pigmented, creamy, and long lasting.

I love how much you get in this sample size. Its about 2mL/0.07 Oz. Perfect for traveling or your makeup purse. The full size Pretty Amazing Lip colors are $16
On the Bare Minerals website, they describe this color and a berry pink. Its a really pretty color. I love how pigmented these lip colors are and they have a nice glossy finish. Really smooth on the lips and last that way all day. If you eat something the color still nicely stays on but the gloss might fade a bit. I really love the applicator. One of my favorite features of this lip color. Its a spongy flexible applicator that comes to a nice pointy tip for great easy application. Perfect for getting a nice clean line around your lips.

Check out my review of the Pretty Amazing Lip Colors from when they first came out. You  will be able to check out the original colors ;) See you next Sunday!!

This Lip duo is awesome. It includes one 100% natural lipcolor in Ripe Fig and one 100% natural lipgloss in Strawberry Creme (gorgeous color!). Its nice because they are attached to each other so they are great to throw in your purse. The colors look great together or separately
