Review: Revlon Color Burst Lip Butter

Hey guys!
So Revlon came out with these new Color Burst Lip Butters and I have been hearing nothing but good things about them. A lot of Gurus on YouTube have been reviewing them so I figured I would check them out myself.
These lip butters claim to have "Hydrating mango, shea and coconut butter formula boosts lip moisture by 156%"
I dont know how it could boost moisture by 156% but I did end up getting couple and they are pretty moisturizing. They say that these balms give you sheer to medium color. I got two colors that were one of the lightest shades so Im not sure how pigmented the brighter colors are. Since they are more on the lighter side I would probably wear a nude lipliner with them just to define my lips a little bit so I dont look washed out.

They are very creamy but light which I like. They definitely make your lips nice and moist. This would be great for anyone who wants to just throw something on to moisturize but add just a hint of color.
These Color Burst Lip Butters come in 20 different shades and can be found at your local drugstores.
The two colors I got were on the lighter side. I got a soft pink and a nice soft orange color.

Sugar Frosting

 Creamsicle

Pros:
-Cute Packaging
-Nice range of colors
-very moisturizing

Cons:
-wish there was more color
-light colors can make you look washed out (based on my skin tone and my personal experience)

If you have tried these, let me know what you think ;)

  1. I agree with you about light colours.
It's also a shame that these don't have an SPF.

  2. I really like the lip butter for the summer. It gets pretty hot here in Texas so it can double as a lip stick and moisture for the lips.
