NOTD: OPI Minnie Mouse Collection

Hey gals! The other day I went into my local beauty store and ran into the new OPI Minnie Mouse Collection. I have seen a few ads in a couple magazines and didn't think I would be interested. I saw these in person and I was really surprised! They are ALL really pretty and fun. I ended up getting 3 out of the 4 polishes. The one I didnt end up getting was a glitter top coat and I don't usually like to wear glitter on my nails like that. It was totally cute but decided last minute not to get it.

OPI The Color Of Minnie

OPI If You Moust You Moust

 OPI I'm All Ears

All three of these are super cute on. Definitely a fun girly collection! The one I think I like the most is "If You Moust You Moust." It kind of reminded me of the Nicki Minaj "Pink Friday" color except its a darker, cooler pink. Very fun and love the finish. I painted this on my nails just to show you how cute it looks on. Don't mind my horrible paint job...

Which colors are you going to get from this collection? Do you think its a hit or miss? Have a great day! xo

Review: Rapunzel Rapunzel Clip in Highlights

Happy Tuesday! Today I was cleaning out my makeup closet and I found my clip in hair highlights. I have never used them before because my hair was never long enough. I tried them out today and they looked great!

These Clip in highlights are from Rapunzel Rapunzel 100% Human Hair Extensions. I have used their hair before and love it. I thought these were fun to try because they are a simple quick way to change your hair without dying or damaging it.

These highlights are $19.99 and your get 4 clip ins in a pack. They are about an inch wide and are 18 inches long. They have a huge range of colors to choose from. They even have red, pink, blue, purple and green highlights!

(top to bottom) tightly curled with hair spray, lightly curled for a wavy look and no hair spray, straightened to be stick straight

The clip in highlights come straight but they can be styled very easily! They hold curl really well even if you don't use hair spray. These can be washed like normal hair but your probably don't need to wash them that often especially since they can be removed at the end of the day. The hair quality is really nice. They feel like real hair, they are super silky and soft. I even cut some of them a little shorter to match up with my shorter layers so they blend naturally.

I got the color Natural Black which is 1B online. I liked these for some peak-a-boo low lights for underneath my hair. :)

Makeup Storage: Lip Products

Hey everyone! Happy Monday. Today I wanted to blog about some storage ideas for your lip products. I actually stole this idea from YouTube guru, Makeup Geek. She did a video on makeup storage and I saw this lip product organizer that I had to get. I finally ordered this last week and I am so happy with how it turned out.

I bought two of these containers from www.sharodan.com . This container costs $14.95. The organizer holds 50 lip products and is 10"x5 1/2"x4". It comes with plastic dividers and also a foam bottom which can be removed.

I used one box for my MAC lipglasses and the other for my MAC Lipsticks. It hold the lip glasses perfectly which out the foam bottom. I kept the foam bottom in for my lipsticks so they don't move around a lot. This container will not fit NYX mega shine lip glosses, MAC Dazzle glasses, or anything that size :(.

This container is great for anyone who has a lip collection like me or is a makeup artist that needs storage for on the go or at home. The website has a lot of other storage products too.

If I have any more storage ideas I will make sure to do more posts on them. I would love to see or hear about any makeup storage ideas that you guys do too.

Have a great week!

Review: MAC Hey Sailor! Suntint SPF20 Liquid Lip Balm

Hey dolls. So during summer I love to wear lip balms with a hint of color. When I saw that MAC was coming out with Suntints in their new Hey Sailor! Collection, I knew I had to get them.

There were three different colored suntints that came in the collection and all of them were pretty different from each other. These lip balm have SPF 20 for sunscreen protection which is always great to have in a lip product. These go on super smooth and aren't too heavy. The finishes are nice if you want a subtle hint of color. I got these lip balms for $19 each at my local MAC store.

(left to right) Au Rose, Abalone, and Sea Mist

Au Rose- Coral Pink with gold flecks
Abalone- See through hot pink, no shimmer
Sea Mist- Peachy nude with pearl finish

What do you use to condition your lips during summer? Whats your favorite Suntint?

Review: MAC Hey Sailor! Bronzing Powder

Every summer I always get a new bronzer. MAC came out with their new summer collection with a huge range of bronzer so I figured it would be a perfect time to pick a new one up! This bronzer is from their new collection called Hey Sailor! The color I picked up is one of their bronzing powders call Soft Sand.

This is a soft frosted powder that will give a sheer hint of color to enhance a tan. This color is described as a golden bronze with a golden pearl finish. I love how you can make this color really shear on the skin or build it up to be a little bit darker. This formula goes on really smooth.

I wear NC30 or NC35 at MAC if you want to compare your skintone with mine as a reference on what bronzer you should get. This is the lighter bronzer out of the two. The other bronzer is a bit darker and is a permanent color at MAC. Its called Refined Gold. I picked up this bronzer at my local MAC store for $29. There is 10g /o.35 ounces of product.

Let me know how you like this bronzer! xo

Review: MAC Hey Sailor! Lipglass

Hey Gals! You know I am a sucker for lip gloss so I had to get a few from the MAC Hey Sailor! Collection. I don't have any like this and believe it or not but I don't have a red lip gloss from MAC.

The packaging is cute. I like how they did the stripes down the whole tube and have the actual gloss peak through the stripes. I got these glosses for $18.50 each at my local MAC Store. I think the prices of everything was a little bit higher because of the special packaging. At least its cute right?

MAC Send Me Sailing Lipglass
This is a pretty juicy red. Pretty pigmented but you can make it go on sheer. Very buildable color. This color is described as a bright yellow red on the MAC website.

 MAC Rivera Life Lipglass
OMG Holy Orange! I love this color! Orange tones are so in this summer so I was not surprised that there was an orange lipgloss in the collection. I had to have it. This color is described as a bright tangerine on the MAC Website.

Here are some swatches of the lip glosses. (left) Rivera Life, (right) Send Me Sailing

What lip glosses did you end up getting? What do you think about the other colors? xo

Review: MAC Hey Sailor! Lipsticks

MAC came out with 4 Lipsticks in the Hey Sailor! Collection. I picked two up that I thought would be a great add on to my lipstick collection. I got my lipsticks for $18.50 at the MAC Store. The lipstick packaging is blue with white stripes and has the gold MAC logo.

 Salute Lipstick
I thought Salute! was a pretty soft peach color. This lipstick is an amplified formula which is what I like because they feel so creamy. This color is descriped as a neutral peach on the website. Love it!
 To Catch a Sailor
This color definetly caught my eye and I totally pictured myself wearing this for a nude lip. This is a frost finish lipstick. Its described on the website as a frosted tan.

What are your thoughts on the lipsticks in this collection? I went with colors I knew I would get more use out of and picked colors I don't already have. What colors did you get?

NOTD: OPI Into The Night (The Amazing Spider Man Collection)

Hey Gals! Just picked up a new blue nail polish to add to my collection. This polish by OPI just came out in the new "The Amazing Spider Man" collection. This blue is awesome. I don't have anything like it.

This color is called "Into The Night. I love the metallic finish and love how it looks in the light. Every time I look at it, it totally reminds me of a super hero blue ;) It's so pretty and fun.

There are 7 total nail polishes in the collection. All of them are totally different from each other. One of the polishes is even a crackle polish. You can find this polish on the OPI website or any beauty supply store that sells OPI. If you want this polish you better get it before its gone!

Have a great week!

Review: Bare Minerals READY Duo "The Last Call"

Yes another new shadow from Bare Minerals. This duo is so pretty and fun. The bright blue caught my eye. Its gorgeous! This duo is called "The Last Call."

On the Rocks & Shaken Not Stirred

On the Rocks- Bright Blueberry Blue
Shaken Not Stirred- Dark navy blue with bright blue flecks of shimmer

Both of these colors are creamy and very pigmented. The shadow that I love the most is On the Rocks. So vibrant! Shaken Not Stirred is a shadow that was in a past palette from BE. If you recognize the name and the color that's because its from the gold holiday palette from last Christmas. If you did not get a chance to get that palette, you might be happy they included this color. Both of them are gorgeous and are definitely colors to try!

This duo retails for $20.

JewelMint: Love Story Set

Hey Gals! I ordered another piece of jewelry from JewelMint this month. I'm in love with it. This set is called the Love Story Set. This four piece set included a ring, and 3 bracelets.

This gold ring is too cute. I usually wear a size 8 in rings but it ran a little big. My advice would be to go down a size. The hearts make it girly and dainty.

These bracelets are adorable. Each bracelet is 7 1/2 inches with a cute heart charm and a toggle clasp. I love that each bracelet is a different color. They look really nice together or can be worn individually. Mix matching different finishes is really in trend right now.

I think this set is one of my favorite pieces from JewelMint! Love it!
