Janurary/February Favorites
Hi Everyone. Its the end of the February and I noticed I have a lot of products I love and couldnt live without these past few months. I didn't have time to share my favorites last month so I figured I would combine last months favs and this month favs.
FACE
The first few products I want to talk about are from Bare Escentuals. These products were previewed at the beginning of February so I was able to get my hands on them early. Bare Minerals are launching their new solid READY Blushes and Bronzers. This is a big deal for BE. Usually all their mineral products are in loose form. These new compacts are great for traveling, throwing in your purse, touch ups, and on the go people.I really liked these color because they are great for everyday, easy to apply, and goes on so smooth.
The 3 colors I picked up (from left to right in the picture) are "The Aphrodisiac Blush", "The High Dive Bronzer, " and "The One Blush."
The blushes are very pigmented on go on really smooth. The bronzers are pigmented and add a great wash of color on your face for a perfect tan. To see more of my review, check out my blog posts here and here .
LIPS
This month my lips have been incredibly dry. I was interested in finding some great lip balms I could wear everyday, but still give me a little color. I heard about ELFs lip blams from friends and bloggers online. I ordered them from their website and got every single color. I love them! Instantly moisturize and add the perfect amount of color. Very nicely pigmented for a lip balm.
MAC launched a new line in February and happened to have 4 lip balms in the collection. I ended up getting 3 of them and also really like them.
If you want to know more about the ELF lip balms, check out my post here and if you want to know more about the MAC Lip Balms, check out my other post here.
EYES:
So I have been stuck in a rut when it comes to my eye makeup. I have been wearing lighter colors on my eyes lately and I kind of like it. This has been my go to palette from Bare Escentuals. They are both matte shadows and are perfect basic brows. I use the color on the left (guru) as a base, and the color on the right (namaste) as my crease color. I definitely recommend this duo if you like neutrals and basic browns.
NAILS
I cant stop talkin about these! These Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips are the BEST! I feel like I rather use these then regular nail polish. They stay on so much longer and dont chip nearly as fast as a nail polish. These hold up on my nails so well when I am working. Usually if I paint my nails the day before I work, they end up chipping the next day just from random tasks I need to take care of at work. They come is so many different colors and patterns. I'm hooked! Here is more info on them here.
Have you tried any of my favorites? What do you like about them? What have you been using a lot this month?

Review: Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Powder
A few days ago I went to Sephora and has a gift card to spent. I have always been interested in Tarina Tarantinos makeup but never really played around with it. I saw these cute little containers with pigment in them. I swatched them on my hand and I was pleasantly surprised how pretty they were. I already pictured myself wearing these during summer.
I loved the little containers they came in. So Cute. The only downer to these cute containers is the lid. Its a little hard to screw on and sometimes Im afraid it wont be screwed on all the way and the pigment will fly everywhere.
Sparklicity Pure Gold
Sparklicity Pure Bronze
These pigments can be used on the eyes, cheeks and even the lips. They are also free of parabens and fillers. You get 0.05 oz in the container. These retails for $17 and can be found at Sephoras website and store.

Review: MAC Viva Glam Nicki Minaj Lipstick
Lookie Lookie at what I got!! I have been waiting for this lipstick to be available in stores to pick up. It finally launched on Valentines day so I had to go in and get it.
I literally went in and bought it without even looking at it in person first! I love Nicki Minaj and her style so I knew I would love it.
This lipstick is so pink and I love it. On the MAC website, this lipstick is described as a "bright yellow pink" color. I honestly think it looks completely different on. Seems to look peachy pink in the container but bright pink on.
If you didn't know already, every cent from the sale goes to help people who have HIV/AIDS. I felt happy that I was able to contribute by buying the lipstick ;)
This lipstick retails for $14.50 and can be found at MAC stores, counters and their website. I would go grab this lipstick asap because I am sure it will sell out fast!
Review: Bare Minerals Buff & Go Brush
Hey Everyone! So all you all know, I have been using Bare Minerals Foundation for over two years now. I have used a couple of their mineral brushes to apply my foundation, but I finally found my favorite go to brush.
The newest brush that they added to their brush collection last year was the Buff & Go Brush. This can be used for a lot of the Bare Minerals products but I think with works amazing with the Bare Minerals foundation.
This brush is synthetic and incredibly soft. It gives the most amazing full coverage because its synthetic and the brush is so dense. I feel like it makes my foundation go on so smooth and make it look like velvet.
Another reason why I love this brush is because it comes with a lid! Great to throw in your purse for a touch up or for traveling.
This brush retails for $22. You can find this brush at the Bare Minerals Website, Ulta, Sephora and at Bare Minerals Boutiques and counters.
Review: Bare Minerals Renew & Hydrate Eye Cream
Hey Everyone. Today I wanted to share with you the eye cream I have been using. I have been using this for quite awhile now and I love it.
Its never to early to start using eye cream. I started using eye cream when I 22. You will thank yourself later. This cream is for hydrating the eye area and also help with anti- aging. This eye cream helps diminish fine lines are wrinkles.
This eye cream "revitalizes skin and boosts moisture leaving the delicate eye area looking revived, refreshed and luminous."-Bare Escentuals website
I have noticed my eye area looks much more hydrated and smooth. Also I notice when I put any under eye concealer on, it doesn't look cakey or dry because the cream keep my eye area moisturized.
I use this eye cream morning and night. I use my ring finger and pat a small amount of the cream around my eye area. The product lasts forever! Little goes a long way. You get 15 mL / 0.5 Fl. Oz in the container. This cream is paraben free, no artificial fragrances or oils.
This eye cream retails for $32. You can get this eye cream at the Bare Escentuals website, Ulta, Sephora or any Bare Escentuals Boutique.

Review: Katy Perry Lashes by Eylure (LadyMoss.com)
Hey Gals!
LadyMoss.com sent me these four lashes to review and I love all of them. Im so excited to share my thoughts on these new lashes by Eylure. They teamed up with Katy Perry and made 4 new lashes. I love how different each one is and there is a pair for anyone out there.
Product Description:
"dainty natural hair lash that will discreetly add length and volume to your own lashes"
These are great for people who are new to lashes, or if you want to keep your lashes looking natural.
Product Description:
" a flattering full lash ,textured for a natural finish but with enough volume to take your lashes from fine to fab!"
I like how whispy these lashes are and great for a cat eye effect.
Product Description:
"They will make your eyes look amazing. Gorgeous framing with manicured tips, these lashes can be work in the day to be daring or at night as the perfect finishing touch."
Love the spiky tip. Gives a fun touch to your look!
Oh My! Lashes
Product Description:
"big and beautiful with a layered effect. All the texture you could want in a lash yet so wearable and really flattering."
I love how thick these lashes are. These are by far my favorite. Typical Katy Perry Lashes!
I definitely recommend for everyone to go check them out at LadyMoss.com. These lashes cost $6.99 with lash glue included. There is also a cute sticker in the box which I thought was a cute touch.

Sample Sundays: Aquolina Pink Sugar Perfume
Hey gals,
Tonight I decided I would do a review on a perfume. I always see this perfume at Sephora and everytime I pass by it on the shelf, I have to stop and smell it. It basically smells like sweet heaven! I love really sweet smelling perfumes and this scent is nothing but that.
Tonight I decided I would do a review on a perfume. I always see this perfume at Sephora and everytime I pass by it on the shelf, I have to stop and smell it. It basically smells like sweet heaven! I love really sweet smelling perfumes and this scent is nothing but that.
Here is a list of what makes this perfume smell so good:
Bergamot, Sicilian Orange, Raspberry, Fig Leaves, Lily of the Valley, Licorice, Strawberry, Red Fruit, Cotton Candy, Vanilla, Caramel, Musk, Wood, Powder.
Another thing that I really like about this line is that they have a lot more products with this same scent. Other products you can find are body spray, body mousse, hair perfume spray, shower gel, and shimmering body lotion. If you are like me, and I find a scent that I like, I want everything to smell like that! So its nice that there are options. I not sure you can get all these products everywhere but I know you can get them at Sephora. I have also seen this scent at Target too.
This perfume comes is different sizes. You can get the 1oz for $30, the 1.7oz for $45 and the big 3.4oz size for $60.
Next time you see this perfume, just give it a quick spray and smell it! Let me know what you think! Happy Sunday!

Valentines Day Looks 2012
Valentines day is just around the corner! I don't know what everyone's plans are but if you need some ideas for fun looks to wear for that special someone, or just a cute look to catch someones attention, here are 2 ideas for you.
Look One: Pink and Flirty
The first look I did was more of a flirty look. The eyes are soft but the cheeks have a pretty pink glow. I made the eyes fun and flirty with full thick lashes on top (Eyelure #205) and I put a strip of lashes on the lower lash line. I wanted to play up the lips with a hot fuchsia color. The lip color I used is from Bare Escentuals. It's their long wearing lip color line called "Pretty Amazing." They have a glossy finish, super pigmented and opaque, and very creamy. If you want to see my review on them you can check out this link: Bare Minerals Pretty Amazing Lipcolor Review I wanted to play up my hair a but with some fun big curls. Lots of volume! Definitely shows off my layers.
check out my YouTube tutorial on how to create this look:
Look Two: Smokey Eyes & Hot Red Lip
The second look I wanted to make a little bit more sexy and sophisticated. I created a wearable smokey eye with different shades of warm brown, then darkened the look with a matte black. I used a mineral bronzer to frame my face and highlighted my cheek bones are a youthful glow. The final touch was a classic red lip. The lip was also a Pretty Amazing lip color from Bare Minerals called Strength.
Check out my YouTube tutorial on how to create this look:
I hope everyone has a great Valentines day! Spend it with someone you care about like your hubbie, boyfriend, family or your best friend ;)
xoxo

Review: MAC Tendertone Lip Balm SPF15
Hey guys!
So last week, MAC came out with their new collections Shop MAC and Cook MAC. I didnt get to go check it out in person until today. The product that I was really into was the Lip Balms. If you guys read my blog, you will know that lately I have been obsessed with lip balms, especially since its winter time.

Tread Gently
Purring
Hush, Hush
The lip balms are super creamy and I love the glossy finish. They are pretty sheer in color but the light tint is nice. These would be great on my days off where I just want to throw on a light lip balm that still has a little bit of color.
The lip balms have a light strawberry kiwi flavor. I love that there is SPF 15 for sunscreen protection. These lip balms retail for $18.
