Review: Bare Minerals "7 Ways To Bare"

Hey Gals....its been awhile.
Bare Minerals came out with another eyeshadow set that I was really excited about. You all know that I love my neutrals and I cant get enough of them.

This set is called "7 Ways To Bare." It includes seven loose small mineral shadows, one for every day of the week. This set retails for $38. Just to let you all know that the shadows are the smaller eyeshadow size which is 0.28 g/ 0.01 oz. Even tho its a smaller size shadow, they will still last you a long time! There is a pretty good range of colors and finishes in this set.

Left to Right:
Pearl Sateen Shadow
Nude Beach Matte Shadow
Chic Nude Shadow (permanent)
Silk Stockings Shadow
Pamper Shadow
In the Nude Shadow
Spiced Fig Liner Shadow

My favorite has to be the Silk Stocking Shadow, and the Pamper Shadow. They both have really pretty shimmery finishes.

Pearl Sateen would be great for a brow highlight. It has a very subtle shimmer. The Nude Beach and Chic Nude Shadow would be perfect for a base on the lid because of the matte finish and neutral undertone. I have used In the Nude for a crease color. I love putting matte browns in the crease to define my eye. Spiced Fig looks great for a smokey look on the outer corner of the lid on used to smudge in the lash line.

I am really happy with this set. If you are looking for some great basic neutrals, then check it out.

Whats your favorite color?

  3. I just got this set yesterday, and it is by far one of my favorite BE sets to date. I love every color! I'm fair (a little tan right now because it's summer), and blonde, and even the darkest colors go on sheer enough, but with enough color, not to look overly dark on me.

  4. Hi, could any one get me a copy of the instructions that come in the box to use the shadows in "7 ways to bare"?
I'm not good with make up at all and found the instructions written there interesting for a start. The instructions I had were thrown away by accident.
    thank you.

    1. TIPS & TRICKS
      for perfect neutral eye looks

      PEARL SATEEN EYECOLOR
Use this vanilla cream shade as the ultimate highlighter under brows. You'll look wide awake--even when you're not.

      NUDE BEACH MATTE EYECOLOR
The color of light warm sand, this beachy shade is a great base to brighten the entire eye area,

      CHIC NUDE EYECOLOR
For a retro look, sweep this veiled nude shade on the lid from lash to brow, then use a wet liner brush to line the upper lash line with Spiced Fig Liner Shadow.

      SILK STOCKINGS EYECOLOR
Wear this shade dry for a peachy nude effect, or "foil" it for a pearlescent peach sheen. To foil, follow your swirl, tap, buff* appliccation with a dampened brush.

      PAMPER EYECOLOR
First, sweep Silk Stockings Eyecolor all over the lid, then buff this light coppery shade into the crease for a soft, shimmery look.

      IN THE NUDE EYECOLOR
Give your lids a wash of Chic Nude Eyecolor first, then buff In the Nude Eyecolor into the outer "V" for a subtle bronze smolder.

      SPICED FIG LINER SHADOW
This multitasker in rich fig brown can be used as a liner with any shade for a quick eye look. It can also be worn as a base shade for a simple yet dramatic smoky eye.

  5. This kit was 1# on my Christmas list and now is 1# in my everyday life! I would say that silk stockings is my favorite in this kit.
